Celebrate the Season at Bivouac: Pumpkins, Pets, Movies & a Halloween Bash

Bivouac Ciderworks is the kind of North Park spot worth making a weekly habit – craft cider, a full food menu, an adventure lodge, a café, and a pommelier on staff for guided tastings. October gives you four more reasons to show up.

Bivouac Ciderworks Halloween events

Your Ticket Includes a Pumpkin, Paint, and a Pour

Now in its sixth year, Bivouac’s Pumpkin Painting Party comes with everything included in your ticket: a pumpkin, painting supplies, and a cider of your choice – alcoholic or non-alcoholic. The Taproom and Lodge transform into an artist’s studio for the afternoon, so get there early to grab lunch before the chaos starts.

Family Movie Night, Theatre-Style, at the Adventure Lodge

The Adventure Lodge goes full theatre mode for a family-friendly Halloween movie night. Cider, the full food menu, and Halloween treats are available for purchase. Pick a seat, settle in, and let the season do its thing.

📆 Wednesday, October 21 | 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM

Six Years of Costumed Pets and it Only Gets Better

Team Biv’s self-described favorite (and most chaotic) event of the year is back for round six. Bring your dog, your cat, or any four-legged creature in costume – the afternoon includes pet photos, a costume contest, prizes, and treats for humans and four-legged friends alike.

The event is free to attend, but if you want your pet in the contest, you’ll need to RSVP in advance.

📆 Sunday, October 25 | 3 PM – 5 PM

Candy-Cider Flights and Costume Energy All Day

Bivouac closes out October with its Halloween Extravaganza – an all-day, all-night celebration at the Taproom and Adventure Lodge. Come in costume for candy and cider flight pairings, specialty cocktails, and the kind of neighborhood energy that makes North Park worth the trip. No entry fee, no reservations needed.

📆 Saturday, October 31 | All day

See you there, San Diego!
