San Diego, Let’s Show Up for Veteran Moms – The Bright Beginnings Baby Shower Needs Us

There’s something special about a community that takes care of its own – and right now, the Foundation for Women Warriors is calling on San Diego to do exactly that.

The local nonprofit is running its Bright Beginnings Baby Shower, a baby supply drive aimed at supporting new moms who are women veterans facing financial hardship. The goal is simple: make sure these women and their babies have everything they need from day one.

A Few Ways to Help

Whether you have five minutes or want to rally your whole office, there’s a way to get involved that works for you.

The easiest option? Shop directly from their Amazon Wishlist and have items sent straight to their warehouse. No trips, no hassle – just a few clicks and something lands exactly where it’s needed.

If you’re the type who likes to bring people together, consider hosting your own diaper and baby supplies drive with friends, family, or co-workers. It’s a great excuse to get people involved in something meaningful.

What a Monetary Contribution Can Do

If you’d rather give financially, even a small amount goes a long way. Here’s a look at what your dollars can provide:

  • $25 covers baby bottles and infant sleepwear
  • $50 supplies a one-month worth of diapers and wipes
  • $100 provides a stroller or crib
  • $250 pays for a full new mom and baby kit

It’s hard not to feel good about those numbers.

Your support starts here!

Let’s show these moms they’ve got a whole city behind them. Every bottle, every diaper, every dollar counts – and San Diego has never been short on generosity.
