It’s Official: Casa Guadalajara has the Best Guac in Old Town!

Old Town just wrapped up its annual “Guac Off” competition, and we’ve got a new king of the dips. Casa Guadalajara emerged victorious, claiming the title of best guacamole in town.

Battle of the Dips

Five of Old Town’s finest restaurants, a crowd of 125 hungry judges, and enough guacamole to fill a swimming pool—that was the scene at this year’s showdown. It was as delicious as it sounds.

Casa Guadalajara, Cafe Coyote, Casa de Freds, Barra Barra Saloon, and Casa de Reyes all competed for the top spot. But in the end, there could only be one champion of chunk.

And the Winner Is…

Casa Guadalajara! These guac gurus will hold the title of “Best Guacamole in Old Town” for the next year. Their winning recipe is definitely worth trying on your next visit.

More Than Just Mashed Avocados

This tasty throwdown wasn’t just about indulging in delicious dips. The “Guac Off” is part of the bigger Fiestas Patrias celebration, honoring Mexico’s fight for independence.

Plus, all those guac-fueled votes are going to a good cause. The proceeds will help preserve Old Town’s historic charm and support the upcoming Día de los Muertos celebration.

See you there!

Ready to taste the champion guac for yourself?
