Communal Extends Hours And Launches Fresh Summer Menu

With summer upon us, Communal Oceanside is happy to announce the launch of extended evening hours in tandem with its new summer menu, expanded wine list, and seasonal craft cocktails.

And with elevated elements like the winding wine bar with wooden barstools, a styled lounge with leather couches and chairs, and of course, a communal table that’s sure to be bustling – – it’s the perfect location for summer date nights!

Freshest produce and relaxing ambiance

With an emphasis on inspiring and caring for the local community, Communal offers a full craft coffee and drink menu, creatively designed spaces, fresh flowers, curated goods, and seasonal food offerings with a summer menu highlighting some of San Diego’s freshest produce.

Chef Jeanette Silva’s summer menu features items like the Ceviche Tostada with cauliflower, tomato, cucumber, avocado, jalapeno salsa and corn tostada, perfectly paired with the Mexican Mule with ginger beer, lime, sabe tequila and tahin rim.

Other summer menu additions include the Burrata Plate with peach, prosciutto, basil and lemon dressing; Peach and Burrata Pizzetta with peaches, burrata, prosciutto, basil and balsamic glaze; and to top off its new drink menu, Oceanside Summer with pineapple, coconut and sabe rum.

To add to Communal’s beloved coffee and tea menu is the Blueberry Mint Latte with house-made blueberry mint syrup, espresso and milk; Almond Bark Cold Brew with house-made almond syrup, cold brew, coconut milk and chocolate sauce; Raspberry Chia Bowl with coconut milk, toasted coconut and toasted almond; and the Vegan Egg Frittata.

Communal’s favorite all-day offerings, including breakfast sandwiches, toasts and pastries, espresso drinks, as well as salads and shared bites.
