Free Outdoor Concert Series At The Conrad Expands To Fall

La Jolla Music Society (LJMS)’ popular free outdoor concert series at The Conrad in La Jolla will be expanded to add shows in the fall, beginning on Wednesday, October 18 with a Salsa Night featuring San Diego favorites, The Manny Cepeda Quartet.

Plan to meet up with friends at The Conrad and enjoy some great salsa, jazz or classical together—or come solo and make some new friends!

“I’m delighted that the popularity of these free events has allowed us to expand the Wu Tsai QRT.yrd Concert Series again this year,” says Allison Boles, Director of Learning and Engagement.

“What began as a small pilot program in the spring of 2021 has developed into a captivating series of ten concerts throughout the fall and spring. Not only does this series engage the community and bring new audiences to The Conrad, it provides an important opportunity to present and celebrate the wide variety of incredible musicians and artists who live and work here in San Diego.”

Celebrate the holidays with La Jolla Music Society at this festive, FREE event for the whole family that transforms the Wu Tsai QRT.yrd into a Winter Wonderland! Sip a cider or classic hot cocoa, gather for storytime, get the kids doing fun crafts, and finish your holiday shopping with local artisans at our holiday market. Plus, enjoy live musical performances from local favorites the San Diego Gay Men’s Chorus, with very special guest Davina Sowers from Davina and the Vagabonds!

The Wu Tsai QRT.yrd Concert Series will return with more exciting performances and our Community Arts Open House in the spring!
