Haute With Heart – A Fashion Show With A Cause
For those who don’t know about St. Madeleine Sophie’s Center (SMSC), it is a pretty incredible place dedicated to helping adults with developmental disabilities. They have a broad range of care programs, creative activities and art galleries, and even an organic garden.
And every year, SMSC puts on their legendary Haute with Heart fashion event.
Haute with Heart is produced by fashion-forward Leonard Simpson and entails special up-lifting performances by SMSC students.
On Saturday, August 19th, guests are invited to enjoy a delicious luncheon at the beautiful Hilton San Diego Bayfront, and partake in a live auction, a silent auction, an opportunity drawing, and of course – fabulous boutique shopping.
Proceeds raised at the fashion show benefit the unique programs St. Madeleine Sophie’s Center offers to over 400 adults with disabilities such as autism, Down syndrome, and cerebral palsy.
