ArtWalk Carlsbad Returns For Its Third Year In North County
ArtWalk Carlsbad 2022 will mark the third year of this fine arts show bringing visual arts to San Diego’s historic North County community, from September 24 to 25.
Art Lovers Rejoice!
After being canceled for the last two years due to COVID-19, art lovers will rejoice as Armada Drive, located above the Carlsbad Flower Fields Drive will once again showcase every medium including painting, sculpture, glass work, fine jewelry, photography, and more in a festival setting.
“After having to pause this festival for the last two years due to COVID-19 we are thrilled to announce its return to North County’s coastal community,” said Curt Brooker, Director of ArtWalk San Diego. “ArtWalk Carlsbad provides artists with a chance to connect with art enthusiasts from North County and throughout Southern California in one weekend. With breathtaking scenery, ArtWalk Carlsbad is a must-visit event for art collectors at all levels!”
ArtWalk Carlsbad 2022 will also feature live entertainment, a wine and beer pavilion, street food options, interactive art experiences; KidsWalk, a family-friendly interactive art area, and more!
Benefiting ArtReach San Diego
ArtWalk Carlsbad and each of ArtWalk San Diego’s three annual festivals support their non-profit partner, ArtReach San Diego, an organization aimed at increasing equity in visual arts education in K-8 schools throughout San Diego County by delivering free or low-cost workshops to schools that have no other resources for art, focusing on Title One Schools. Many of the programs ArtReach offers are provided at no cost to schools.
ArtWalk Carlsbad is Free to Attend
ArtWalk Carlsbad will be held on Armada Drive above the Carlsbad Flower Fields off Palomar Airport Road. Attendance is free and there is an abundance of free parking adjacent to the festival, in parking lots along Fleet Street.
