Beeside Balcony Hosts Exclusive Dinner With Legendary Winemaker, Dauo Vineyards
Beeside Balcony will be host an exclusive wine dinner with legendary winemaker – DAOU Vineyards – taking place October 26th at Beeside Balcony located in the heart of Del Mar.
The pre-fix wine dinner will be presented by award-winning chef, Christophe Cevasco with special guest, Roman Palumbo, who currently oversees the business development for DAOU in Southern California and lives here in sunny San Diego. He is ready to add energy, excitement & knowledge to the Beeside Balcony wine dinner.
The five-course wine dinner will consist of appetizers such as Crab Cakes made with panko crusted blue lump crab, arugula and remoulade and Seared Hudson Valley Foie Gras with local apricot marmalade, balsamic glaze and roasted garlic polenta. The main course will be Seared Scallops with spanish chorizo, romanesco, cauliflower, toasted almonds, mango citrus sauce and truffle oil followed by Double-Cut Pork Chops served with creamy mashed potatoes, onion marmalade, crispy onions and a demi-glace. Dessert will be chef created and served family style.
Each dish is paired with a glass of DAOU, hand-picked and explained by Palumbo.
A raffle ticket will be given to each guest for the chance to win wine bottles, merch, gift certificates and more! DAOU bottles of wine will be sold after the dinner at a reduced price. Limited tickets are available for $100 and can be purchased here.
