City Ballet Takes a Bite Out of Fall With ‘Dracula’
Get ready to be spellbound as City Ballet of San Diego brings a thrilling mix of classic and contemporary dance to the stage this November with a spooky masterpiece alongside timeless gems.
Three Acts of Pure Magic
Leading the charge is the spine-tingling “Dracula,” fresh from the creative mind of Geoffry Gonzalez. Set to the haunting melodies of Franz Liszt, this 2024 production promises to bring gothic romance to life through the power of dance.
The evening takes a graceful turn with Balanchine’s “Emeralds,” where the ethereal sounds of Gabriel Fauré transport us to a world of pure elegance. Rounding out the night is “Ecliptic,” Annabelle Lopez Ochoa’s contemporary masterpiece set to the enchanting music of Ludovico Einaudi.
