Join San Diego’s Largest Walk to Fight Breast Cancer
We’re about to turn Snapdragon Stadium into a sea of pink, and you’ll want to be part of this incredible movement. The Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk isn’t just another Sunday morning stroll; it’s our community coming together to make real change happen.
Why This Walk Hits Different
When we say this event moves mountains, we mean it. Over the past 30 years, Making Strides has raised a jaw-dropping $1 billion for breast cancer research and support programs nationwide. Now Illumina’s joining forces with us to make this year’s San Diego walk even more impactful.
Meet Our Local Hero
We’re especially proud to spotlight our first-ever walk honoree: the amazing Tammy Blackburn. An SDSU rockstar (27 years and counting!), Tammy’s not just navigating stage 4 breast cancer—she’s showing us all what true strength looks like while lifting up other survivors and thrivers along the way.
Ready to Make Waves?
Whether breast cancer has touched your life personally or you just want to be part of something bigger than yourself, there’s room for you in this movement. Our community’s shooting for the stars with a $700,000 fundraising goal, and every dollar gets us closer to kicking breast cancer to the curb.
See you there!
