San Diego Beer Week Finishes Strong With Beer Garden At The Lodge At Torrey Pines

Beer Garden at The Lodge at Torrey Pines is the famed closing event for San Diego Beer Week. It takes place Sunday, November 13 and the menu items have been released. As always, 14 renown local chefs/establishments are paired with 28 local independent craft breweries for the event put on by the San Diego Brewers Guild.

1. The Golden Door (Greg Frey) with Mother Earth and Wild Barrel – Golden Bánh Mi, Rabbit Mortadella, Roasted Goat, Chicken Pate, Pickled Daikon, Serrano Butter, Country Store White Bread

2. The Wise Ox Butcher & Deli by Trust Restaurant Group (Brad Wise and Jeremy Harville) with Belching Beaver and Second Chance Brewing – Peanut Butter-Chocolate Ice cream, Caramel Swirl, Fudge Ripple, Peanut Butter Nougat, Pretzels, Dry Aged Burger, Dukes’ Mayo & Mustard, Pickles, Bacon

3. Pamplemousse Grille (Jeffrey Strauss) with Pure Project and Societe – Duck Confit Empanada with Roasted Red Pepper Sauce ~ Frisee Salad with Quince, Pomegranate, Toasted Pepitas, Pomegranate Vinaigrette

4. ANIMAE Waygu Steakhouse (Tara Monsod) with White Labs and Burgeon – Taiwanese Fried Chicken, Hot Honey, Thai basil

5. Ballast Point Brewing Co. (Tommy DiMella) with Viewpoint Brewing Co. and Ballast Point Brewing – Chargrilled Marble Potatoes, Bacon Jam, Parsnip Bechamel, Raw Beet Variations

6. The Lodge at Torrey Pines (Paul Arias) with Alesmith and Original 40 – Smoked Shrimp Hot Dog on Brioche Bun Pomegranate Pickle Relish, Golden Beet Mustard

7. Carbon BBQ by Buona Forchetta Restaurant Group (Hanis Cavin) with Eppig Brewing and Mujeres Brewing – Smoked Prime Beef Shoulder, Crispy Potato Cake, Ale BBQ Sauce, Pickled Pearl Onions

8. WellFed (Phillip Esteban) with Harland Brewing and North Park Beer – Bicol Express; Crispy Pork, Long Beans, Coconut Milk, Crispy Garlic, Scallions, Garlic Rice

9. Karl Strauss Brewing Co. (Gunther Emathinger and Corey Rapp) with Karl Strauss Brewing and Jacked Up Brewing – Sirloin Strips, Firecracker Sauce Over Green Papaya Salad

10. Kingfisher (Jonathan Bautista) with Coronado Brewing and Thorn Brewing – Baja Bay Scallops, Celery, Pineapple, Tomato, Tamarind, Seaweed, Thai Basil, Rice Paddy Herbs

11. Blue Bridge Hospitality (Ronnie Schwandt and Matt Sramek) with Rouleur Brewing and My Yard Live – Merguez Spiced Lamb Meatball, Chermoula, Cous Cous

12. Tom Hams Lighthouse (Kyle Kovar) with Chula Vista Brewing and Pizza Port – Confit Duck Leg, Sweet corn Puree, Frisee, Goat Cheese, Radish, Blackberry

14. Goldfinch Deli by Urban Kitchen Group (Jeff Armstrong and Tim Kolanko) with California Wild Ales and Mission Brewery – Potato Latke, Smoked Cobia, Horseradish Cream, Trout Roe

Featuring 28 craft breweries and 14 local chefs, Beer Week’s Beer Garden is a truly unique and delicious food and beer pairing event. Each admission includes unlimited tasters of beer and food.
