OMA Presents Street Level Vol 2.3
Street Level Vol 2.3 is inspired by OMA’s current exhibition, Allied Craftsmen: Hands On Design, featuring works from the oldest professional organization of craft artists in Southern California, Allied Craftsmen of San Diego.
The exhibition highlights contemporary craft art and how traditional practices can inform contemporary innovation.
In addition to showcasing the Allied Craftsmen: Hands On Design exhibition, Street Level 2.3 will feature performances by the Indigenous flute duo “Spiritual Wind” and DJ Lou Niles, bites by Native Kiicha Frybread, and an artist talk by Kathy Nida.
Set to take place on Friday, July 19 from 6 PM to 8:30 PM, this vibrant event series brings the community together for an evening of culture, music, and art, offering a unique opportunity to experience the museum in a whole new light.
