Glitz and Glamour Take Center Stage at The Old Globe
Get ready to dust off those tuxedos and cocktail dresses, San Diego! The Old Globe is rolling out the red carpet for its 89th annual gala. This year’s theme is “Black & White Masquerade.”
From Cocktails to Curtain Call
We’re talking a night that’s pure theatrical magic from start to finish. Enjoy craft cocktails from Snake Oil during the cocktail hour on Copley Plaza, nosh on gourmet bites from Urban Kitchen Group, and rub elbows with San Diego’s glitterati.
But that’s just the opening act. The main event? An al fresco dinner under the stars, complete with stilt walkers, dancers, and even a magician.
And speaking of shows, hold onto your masks because Tony Award-winner Aaron Tveit is gracing us with a special performance. Broadway in our backyard? Yes, please!
After-Party Extravaganza
Not ready to call it a night? Neither are we! The gala’s new after-party is where the real fun begins. We’re talking more cocktails, Vanity Portraits to capture your masked magnificence, and dancing under the stars. It’s the perfect encore to an already spectacular evening.
Now, let’s talk dress code. This is a black (and white) tie affair, so go all out! And don’t forget your mask—it’s not just encouraged, it’s practically required. Don’t have one? No worries, The Old Globe’s got you covered.
See you there!
The Old Globe annual gala tickets start at $1,500 for the full gala experience or snag an after-party ticket for $500. It’s all happening on September 21 from 5:30 PM to midnight.
