The Original 40 Brewing Celebrates Legendary Head Brewer
If you live in San Diego and are a craft-beer fan, then chances are you know who Cosimo Sorrentino is – the award-winning Head Brewer at The Original 40 Brewing Company.
On May 6th, Sorrentino will be heading to Texas to serve as the new Head Brewer for Lazarus Brewing, a six-year-old operation in East Austin. This comes after a year-and-a-half of heading production at North Park brewpub, The Original 40 Brewing.
To celebrate the impact Sorrentino has had on San Diego, Original 40 will be hosting a going away party for him starting at 3PM on May 6th. Sorrentino will release his final beer as well on the 6th dubbed Exit Interview – a West Coast-Style IPA clocking in at 5.4% ABV.
Anyone wanting to bid farewell to this legendary San Diego Brewer is encouraged to stop by the North Park brewery and wish him luck in Austin, and of course, taste his final release – Exit Interview.
