It’s Queens Of Comedy Time At Mic Drop
Mic Drop Comedy, the new thoughtfully curated comedy club in San Diego, is leaning into its mission to highlight a more diverse array of comedians with a heavily female-focused line-up for the month of September, making it the month of ‘Queens of Comedy,’ a nod to their Alice in Wonderland themed décor.

September kicks off the female-focused talent with a taping of This Bitch Podcast featuring comedians, Sara Weinshenk and Kim Congdon, on September 1.
On September 9 and 10, Mic Drop will host Jackie Fabulous, a stand-up comedian, actress and writer who’s been featured on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Kevin Hart’s LOL Network, The Arsenio Hall Show, and Last Comic Standing.
The month continues with Lisa Gilbert on September 11; comedians and amateur detectives, Liza Treyger and Kara Klenk, on September 15; Jiaoying Summers, the hottest Chinese-American woman in comedy on September 17; and on September 24, a comedy workshop “Pretty Funny Women” hosted by Lisa Sundstedt, creator of Pretty, Funny Women (the longest running all female comedy show in the world).
