Celebrate Our LGBTQ+ Community At San Diego Pride Festival, Parade And Parties!
The San Diego Pride Festival, parade and a whole lot of parties return to San Diego this weekend to celebrate the culture, history, diversity and LGBTQ+ community that lives, works and plays in San Diego!
The Parade
The annual San Diego Pride parade is the largest single-day civic event in the region, and is among the largest Prides in the United States, attracting over 200,000 cheering supporters of the LGBTQ community!
The parade begins at the Hillcrest Pride Flag at University Ave. and Normal St., proceeds west on University Ave., turns south on 6th Ave., turns left onto Balboa Dr. and ends at Laurel St. – where you’ll find the entrance to the Pride Festival!
The Festival
The annual Pride Festival includes multiple stages of entertainment, more than 100 entertainers, and dozens of vendor booths, exhibits, cultural presentations, delicious food booths, and over 40,000 of your closest friends!
The festival is both Saturday and Sunday this weekend in Balboa Park, and has a ton of stuff happening – so check out the full agenda and get your tickets!
The Block Party
Presented by Fabulous Hillcrest, and San Diego Pride in association with iHeartMedia Inc. and San Diego County Credit Union the party features a diverse line up of local and international talent, including some of the hottest stars from RuPaul’s Drag Race!
The festival also features a Stoli Vodka cocktail bar & Miller Coors beer garden featuring Hop Valley Brewing Co.’s #Reveal, food trucks, a laser-light show, go-go dances, a DJ dance party, and YOU aboard the giant Ferris-Wheel as your take in the views of Hillcrest’s giant 65 foot high- 20′ x 30′ foot Rainbow Pride Flag!
