Step Aboard The Sweetest And Gooeyist Chocolate Festival At The Maritime Museum!
It’s a festival of chocolate for Pete’s sake!
Coming back for its 6th year of sweetness, the Chocolate Festival at the Maritime Museum of San Diego will be bigger and better than before!
So big and so full of chocolatey goodness that, this year, the event will be held on multiple vessels at the Maritime!

Sunday, April 30th from 10am to 4pm, this all-ages chocolate extravaganza will be packed with vendors ready and waiting to bring you the best chocolate edibles, to teach you some sweet new tricks with chocolate in the kitchen, to wine and dine you with chocolate and wine or beer tastings galore, and so much more!
But the part of this event we have to say we’re pretty darn excited about is… making your own chocolate pizza!! Our kind friends at the Maritime have made this activity not only available for the kids but also one for the adults, and we thank them for that.
So be sure to tote your little ones – or call up your nieces and nephews for some serious brownie points – because on top of chocolate pizza-making, there will be face painting, demonstrations and many other interesting activities!
Last but not least, for those of you who are looking to have a chocolate romance with your significant other, sign up for one of the bay cruises or sailing opportunities which will have chocolate goodies on board for your savory sampling.
After all that, we think it’s safe to say there will be chocolate amazingness for everyone that attends this awesome event. But here’s the thing: this year there is a limited quantity of admissions (to ensure quality and comfort while your tastebuds enjoy a chocolatey day, of course), so snag your tickets now!
Admission to the festival is free for Maritime Museum members, $13-23 for early-bird non-members, and $23-33 for non-members at the door.
Ladies and gents, we’ll see you out there, #ChocolateWasted!
