Wild Side of San Diego Hits the Big Screen at The Nat
The Nat’s latest documentary, Wild San Diego, is about to show us our city’s untamed heart like we’ve never seen it before.
This stunning nature film takes us on an incredible journey through America’s most biodiverse urban landscape, from soaring over the Pacific alongside majestic marine giants to getting up close with the quirky ground squirrels in our own backyard.
Nature’s Greatest Show
This isn’t just another nature doc. Local powerhouse Day’s Edge Productions spent two years capturing San Diego‘s wild residents in action—we’re talking grebes doing their courtship dance at Lake Hodges, grunion runs lighting up Pacific Beach, and countless other moments that’ll make us fall in love with our city all over again.
The 40-minute film shows how our wild neighbors are adapting and thriving right alongside us in this concrete jungle.
“It’s been a labor of love to discover everything this city’s natural world has to offer,” says Dr. Nathan Dappen, the film’s director and local wildlife enthusiast. And honestly? We’re here for every minute of it.
