San Diego Museum Of Art To Host “Expressions Of Pride: On The Steps At SDMA”, June 24th

In celebration of Pride month, The San Diego Museum of Art is partnering with San Diego Pride and Art of Pride to present Expressions of Pride: On the Steps at SDMA (June 24).

Expressions of Pride: On the Steps at SDMA

This experience brings together artists from multiple disciplines including visual artists, musicians, dancers, and spoken word artists to celebrate the diversity of identities and communities encompassed by Pride.

Performances are scheduled from 4PM to 6PM. There will also be artist and art-making booths, including an interactive community mural from 4PM to 7PM.

  • DISCO RIOT
  • Gilbert Castellanos
  • San Diego Shakespeare Society

Artist and art-making booths featuring:

  • Local LGBTQ+ artists curated by Art of Pride
  • Community mural art interactive
  • Public art-making activity with SDMA Educators

Enjoy late-night access to the Museum on Summer Fridays

The Expressions of Pride: On the Steps at SDMA event also kicks off the Museum’s Summer Fridays program. Beginning June 24 through August 5, the Museum will be open until 8PM on Fridays.
