Fig Tree Cafe To Open In East Village On August 9th

Fig Tree Cafe is slated to open its third location in East Village on August 9th! Housed in a 2,714-square-foot space along Sixth Avenue, the location will feature a spacious 300-square-foot patio, where guests can savor the same innovative brunch creations found at its two existing outposts in Pacific Beach and Liberty Station.

Specialties include Breakfast Sushi, Fig Jam & Ricotta Cheese Stuffed French Toast and Braised Angus Beef Short Ribs Benedict, plus a selection of morning libations including bloody Mary renditions, mimosas and house cocktails such as their Fig Tree Mule and Spicy Strawberry Margarita.

CEO/Owner of Rise & Shine Hospitality Group (Fig Tree Café, Breakfast Republic, Breakfast Company and Eggies), Johan Engman, anticipates several other restaurant openings to come within the next year, including a Fig Tree Café outpost in Mission Valley, complete with an adjacent Eggies walk-up window, plus more in the works.
