Natural Wine Magic Hits North City

San Diego’s wine scene just hit the jackpot with J Brix Wines North City, San Marcos. This isn’t just another tasting room—it’s the new home of natural wine superstars who snagged The New York Times’ number one spot with their ‘Cobolorum’ Petillant Naturel Riesling.

J. Brix Wines

From Garage to Greatness

Emily Towe and Jody Brix Towe are the dynamic duo behind this fifteen-year love letter to natural wine. What started in their garage has grown into something absolutely magical—crafting wines that capture pure California soul from Santa Barbara to San Diego, with minimal intervention and maximum character.

Sip, Savor, and Stay Awhile

Their new 890-square-foot space is basically wine heaven—think soaring ceilings, sun-drenched corners, and a showstopper wooden bar that’s begging for you to settle in. With six to twelve wines flowing from tap and bottle, there’s something for everyone, from wine newbies to certified cork dorks.

The best part? Bring your favorite North City feast—sushi, empanadas, pizza, you name it—and create your own perfect pairing. They’ve also got a killer selection of snacks, from fancy imported chips to tinned fish that’ll make every sip even better.

See you there!

J. Brix Wines is pouring Tuesday and Thursday from 3 to 8 PM, Friday from 3 to 9 PM, Saturday from 12 to 9 PM, and Sunday from 12 to 5 PM (closed Monday and Wednesday). Roll up for a walk-in tasting or book your group flight ahead on Tock.
