Rooftop Live Music Is Back at Andaz San Diego

Spring evenings in the Gaslamp just got an upgrade. Andaz San Diego has launched a new rooftop live music series, and it is already shaping up to be a go-to Thursday plan downtown.

Each week, the rooftop comes alive with rotating local talent, skyline views, craft cocktails, and bites from The Rooftop by STK. If we are looking for an easy midweek reset without leaving downtown, this checks a lot of boxes.

Live Music Series at Andaz San Diego

Thursday Nights, Handled

The series features a lineup of artists that keeps things fresh while delivering consistently good energy.

Artists in the rotation include:

  • Trevor Davis – Contestant on The Voice, Pop, Soul, Total Variety
  • Christian Taylor – Soul, Blues, Americana, Rock
  • Freddie Walton – Soul, Blues, Top 40, Folk, Pop, Beach Vibe
  • Rachel Jay – Pop, Jazz, R&B, Folk

Expect everything from soulful acoustic sets to high-energy pop covers, all set against panoramic views of downtown San Diego. The setting alone makes it worth heading up to the rooftop and settling in for the evening.

Rooftop Views + Craft Cocktails

There is something about live music outdoors that just feels right this time of year. Add in a well-made cocktail and a few shareable bites, and Thursday starts to feel like the new Friday.

The Rooftop by STK brings its signature food and beverage program into the mix, so you can enjoy elevated small plates and cocktails while the music plays. It is a solid option whether you are meeting friends after work or planning a relaxed night in the Gaslamp.

A Little Extra for a Staycation

If you are thinking about turning a night out into a full stay, Andaz San Diego is also offering a $100 food and beverage credit at The Rooftop by STK. It is a seamless way to lean into the rooftop experience – check in, head upstairs, and enjoy dinner and drinks with a built-in credit.

For those of us who love discovering new weekly rituals around the city, this feels like one that will stick.

See you there!

Live music, rooftop views, and a solid cocktail lineup in the heart of the Gaslamp – we will happily add this to our Thursday rotation.
