Owned and created by innovative chef, Alia Jaziri. Medina’s menu is rooted in bringing together traditional North African dishes that Chef Alia grew up cooking alongside her father with the quintessential flavors and ingredients from Baja California.

Medina Moroccan Baja Kitchen will serve a bold lunch and dinner menu

  • Housemade merguez (spicy lamb) sausage flatbread tacos
  • Herbed couscous grain bowls with Moroccan spiced chicken asado
  • Shakshuka, a skillet dish of eggs poached North African-style in a smoky, spicy, vegetable-laden tomato sauce

Perfectly pairing with the flavors and spices of this impressive and adventurous menu will be a selection of eclectic wines. This includes varietals sourced from Mexico’s Valle de Guadalupe wine country, and various local craft beers.

Additionally, there will be fresh Greek yogurt on hand with a selection of toppings available. A wide range of toppings includes house-made cherry syrup to olive oil, honey, and sea salt that will give patrons the option to create their own dessert.

A casual atmosphere with an ode to the taquerias of Southern California and Baja

Medina’s casual atmosphere, as well as its modern, clean, and colorful design, is inspired by the energy of the medinas and souks found in Morocco and Tunisia. The outdoor seating and soothing azure blue and white tiles will give diners a feeling of lounging by the Mediterranean Sea.
