San Diego Brewers Guild Announces 2025 Board and Event Lineup
Big news for beer lovers! The San Diego Brewers Guild has announced its 2025 Board of Directors, event dates, and exciting plans for the year.
Kilowatt Brewing’s Esthela Davila has been named President, bringing her passion for craft beer and community to the forefront. Mark your calendars for the 17th Annual San Diego Beer Week, happening November 7 to 16, 2025, along with other can’t-miss events.

Meet the 2025 Board of Directors
Leading the Guild this year is a dynamic team of industry professionals:
- President: Esthela Davila, Kilowatt Brewing
- Vice President: Jeff Lozano, Ballast Point Brewing
- Secretary: Neva Parker, White Labs Brewing Co.
- Directors: Diane Hilz (The Roadies Brewing Co.), Matthew Holden (Holden Consulting Group), Aidan Kennedy (Coronado Brewing Co.), and Aaron Long (Mission Brewing)
- Historian: David Moore (non-voting)
- Treasurer: Bryan Carpenter, LevitZacks (non-voting)
Davila, a Barrio Logan native, has been a leader in the craft beer scene since 2014. She’s known for her commitment to promoting women and Latinas in the industry, and her passion for keeping San Diego at the top of the craft beer world.
“We’re going full steam ahead to maintain San Diego as The Capital of Craft,” said Davila.

Tap Into Knowledge
The Guild’s educational series, Tap Into Knowledge, kicks off on January 25 at McIlhenney Brewing Company in Alpine. The first session, ‘Harnessing Hops,’ is open to professional brewers and anyone curious about the craft. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased here.

Founded in 1997 with just 15 breweries, the San Diego Brewers Guild now represents the region as The Capital of Craft™. With over 150 breweries and a dedicated team, the Guild continues to champion independent craft beer and foster growth in the industry.
