San Diego Pride Announces Full Lineup For 2019 Festival
San Diego Pride announced the full lineup of entertainment for the 2019 Pride Festival, held at Marston Point in Balboa Park, and it’s going to be huge! The festival hosts over 100 entertainers across four stages and Saturday, July 13 to Sunday, July 14, including headliners Melissa Etheridge and King Princess.
This year’s theme is “Stonewall 50: A Legacy of Liberation,” to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots and to honor the Stonewall generation, their activism, and all that the LGBTQ community has gained through their efforts.
The lineup includes:
Melissa Etheridge
An early supporter and member of the community, came out in 1993 and disrupted the 90’s rock genre with music surrounding her sexual identity.
King Princess
A genderqueer pop artist intended on using their platform to bring visibility to the community.
