Sarah Stieber Announces 4th Annual Experiential Pop-Up Gallery in Little Italy

San Diego artist Sarah Stieber, known for her bold, vibrant artwork, is thrilled to unveil her latest collection, the ‘Integration Series.’

The experiential pop-up gallery, located at 1943 India St. in Little Italy, will be open to the public from April 8 to June 17, with a grand opening celebration on April 18, inviting you to step into Stieber’s sparkling, colorful world.

The ‘Integration Series’ explores individuals’ multifaceted identities. “We have all of these roles, schemas, and parts of ourselves,” Stieber explains.

“I believe that when we know ourselves at our core, we can integrate those parts, be purposeful about which layers to bring forward, and move through the world with integrity and awareness.”

The ‘Integration Series’ is made entirely out of cut and pasted tape. This figurative collection creates the illusion of overlapping transparent colors, inviting you to explore the depth and vibrancy of your own multifaceted identity.

“My art is my journal”, explains Stieber. “I create these images to explore and express what I want to bring into my life.”

“I am working on embracing and integrating all of my roles and emotions so that I can move forward with power, self-knowledge, and integrated expression, and I hope that this deeply personal series will resonate with everyone who steps into my gallery.”

Stieber is known for integrating her art with the public through large-scale murals and immersive events, and this year’s gallery concept is no exception. “My art is more integrated into this space than ever before—when you walk through the doors, you will feel like you’re inside one of my paintings,” explains Stieber.

The visual essence of Stieber’s artwork is mirrored in a ceiling installation, custom-designed belly bars, and jewelry displays.

You can even step into a custom photo booth adorned with colored transparencies to snap Polaroids of yourself, creating instant self-portraits in Stieber’s signature style and becoming part of the art yourself!

In a special collaboration with Topo Chico Mineral Water, the brand will introduce “Sabores,” their newest line of flavored sparkling waters, at the gallery in weekly “Sabores Saturdays” events. This public event series will feature live music, allowing you to sample the new flavors in a festive atmosphere.
