Surfrider & Eggies Hatch Partnership For Earth Day In San Diego

The Surfrider Foundation San Diego Chapter and Eggies Pacific Beach are joining forces for Earth Day to encourage San Diegans to help keep our coastline clean and litter-free.

Surfrider Foundation & Eggies Hatch Partnership For Earth Day In San Diego

Breakfast, coffee, and a helping hand!

The partnership kicks off on April 18th from 9AM to noon at Eggies Pacific Beach, where Surfrider will set up a check-in tent next to the grab-n-go breakfast window for those joining to participate in their beach clean-up that day.

During that time, $1 from every breakfast sandwich or jar sold at that Eggies location will go to the Surfrider Foundation, and free coffee will be available for each beach clean-up participant who brings a reusable coffee container.

Can’t make it? You can still help.

Those who can’t make it can still show their support from Sunday, April 18th to Wednesday, April 21st, during which Eggies will donate $1 to Surfrider for every Eggies branded jar returned to the Pacific Beach location. The jars that folks return will be cleaned, sanitized and reused! All other Eggies to-go containers are compostable – check out Surfrider’s tips on how to easily build your own composting bin at home.
