Tahona’s Chef’s Table DinnerEat + Drink Special dinner includes four courses from Executive Chef Adrian Villareal and education and insight into four expressions of mezcal
San Diego mezcal bar and kitchen, Tahona, will host an intimate Chef’s Table dining event alongside artisanal mezcal from Origen Raiz during a one-night-only dinner paired with the Mexican mezcal brand. This intimate dinner will take place in Tahona’s mezcal tasting room, where more than 140 types of mezcal are regularly available for tastings and purchase.
Tahona’s Executive Chef Adrian Villareal, who focuses on sophisticated Mexican cuisine and has cooked in such hotspots around the world as the famed Noma in Denmark, will create a four-course menu unique to this evening and designed to accentuate the flavors of Mexico’s favorite spirit, mezcal – the end result being experiential dining in every bite.
Joining Chef Adrian at Tahona this night will be Bildo Saravia, owner of Origen Raiz, who will provide insight into the four expressions of mezcal presented alongside each course.
During this evening, Tahona will also offer a special happy hour to all between 5 and 7 p.m. featuring Origen Raiz mezcal and a surprise cocktail, with all profits from sales of the evening’s special cocktail going to Corazon de Vida, a 501C3 nonprofit designed to support ten orphanages throughout Baja California. Walk-ins are welcome during happy hour.
