The Plot Restaurant Unveils A New Offering: LUNCH
Oceanside staple, The Plot restaurant, which has been highly sought after for its plant-based dinner and brunch offerings, will welcome guests for counter-style lunch service starting on Wednesday, June 29th.
Every Wednesday-Friday from 11:30-2:30PM, diners can munch on new dishes and classic favorites while taking in the minimal design or sitting outside amidst the restaurant’s regenerative garden. The latest addition maintains the eatery’s sustainable and zero-waste ethos while delivering crave-worthy options for those looking to indulge midday The Plot way.
The Plot Restaurant Lunch Menu Offerings
The new menu offerings from Davin Waite and Ryan Orlando emphasize local, fresh, and seasonal ingredients. The Plot celebrates local sourcing from Hokkaido Bread Company, which makes all the buns and bread for the new lunch sandwiches.
Menu highlights:
- Sweet potato fries with cheësy truffle sauce
- Lerm Burger — black bean, sweet potato, oat, and lions mane patty, Korean bbq, avo, cabbage slaw and served on a vegan brioche bun named after creator of the dish, Chef Lerma.
- Four “Sandos”
- A seasonal wrap: Beet Reuben Sando | Meatless Loaf Sando | Hot Chicken Sando
- Three house-made salads: Caesar with zesty citrus dressing | Crab and cucumber salad with sunomono | Kale salad with farro, pickled red onions, and cara cara rice dressing
For those looking to stay a bit longer, the bar will remain open on weekdays from 2:30-4PM, and snacks, such as the delicious sweet potato fries with cheësy truffle sauce will remain available.
