The Westgate Hotel Offers Themed Afternoon Teas Throughout December

The Westgate Hotel is running three themed afternoon teas throughout December, and if you’ve been looking for a way to celebrate the season that feels a little more special than just grabbing dinner somewhere, these are worth checking out.

We’re talking Winter Wonderland Tea with live harp music, Santa’s Teddy Bear Tea with story time and photos, and Grinch’s Tea with Whoville-worthy entertainment. Each one creates its own vibe rather than just serving tea with some decorations thrown up.

Winter Wonderland Tea

The Grand Lobby gets transformed into a Winter Wonderland with live harp music backing your seasonal Afternoon Tea – savory bites, scones, and sweets with a winter twist. You get a take-home tea gift, and if you’re 21+, there’s a complimentary glass of champagne.

It’s $65 per adult and runs on multiple dates throughout December and into early January, so you’ve got flexibility.

The live harp music is what makes this feel elevated. And the take-home tea gift means you’re leaving with something beyond just a full stomach.

Santa’s Teddy Bear Tea

This one’s designed for families. Hot chocolate, premium teas, festive savories, scones, and holiday-inspired sweets, all while live holiday piano music plays.

There’s story time and photos with Santa, and kids leave with a North Pole keepsake teddy bear. Adults 21+ get complimentary champagne. It’s $65 per adult, $40 per child, and free for infants one and under.

The keepsake teddy bear and structured programming (story time, Santa photos) make this work for younger kids who need more than just sitting at a table. They’ve thought about how to keep everyone engaged.

Grinch’s Tea

The Versailles Ballroom hosts this one. Sandwiches, tea, and festive desserts, while Whoville-worthy entertainment happens around you, plus themed photo moments. Adults 21+ get champagne, kids get a keepsake gift. Same pricing as Santa’s Tea – $65 per adult, $40 per child, free for infants one and under.

The Grinch theme works for families who want festive without doing the traditional Santa thing.
