Sing Christmas Carols With Country Stars At ‘Carols By Candlelight’ To Benefit Rady Children’s Hospital
Carols By Candlelight is celebrating its 28th anniversary this year, and once again and all net proceeds will benefit Rady Children’s Hospital with the goal of making a life-changing difference in the lives of local children that need our support.
The show runs through December 24th, so you have time to see it – maybe even a couple of times! – before the holidays are through. But don’t wait too long…this is a popular San Diego tradition and shows will sell out.

The Local Holiday Bazaar, a one-day pop-up Holiday Market featuring carefully curated local boutiques selling their handmade and vintage products only, will be at Flower Hill Promenade for a delightful day of holiday shopping.

Sunday, December 10th
Presented by the Port of San Diego, the San Diego Bay Parade of Lights brings more than 100,000 San Diego residents and visitors to the shores of San Diego Bay each year. The procession of approximately 80 lavishly decorated boats has become one of the most iconic events in the region. This year, for the 2nd time, the parade will proceed to the pier at Cesar Chavez Park before making the turn to Coronado, giving spectators another area to view the parade.
It’s not just humans who get into the holidays spirit in San Diego. As a super pet friendly city, our canine companions and an assortment of other furry, feathered and scaly friends join the festivities with the annual holiday pet parade in the Gaslamp on December 10. Animals of all shapes and sizes show off their finest holiday fashions as they march through the downtown streets. If you’d like to participate with your pet, it’s just $15 for registration if you sign up in advance!
Monday, December 11th
Comedic legend Carol Burnett comes to town! During “An Evening of Laughter and Reflection,” Carol Burnett will take questions from the audience, show video clips from her shows in a format that harkens back to the legendary openings of The Carol Burnett Show where her studio audience had an unfiltered opportunity to engage Carol with questions and receive spontaneous answers.
