Mostly Outdoor Restaurant And Bar The Presley Coming To Liberty Station July 29th

Good Time Design, the hospitality group behind some of San Diego’s favorite venues, including Moonshine Beach, Moonshine Flats, and The Blind Burro, is excited to announce the grand opening of The Presley on July 29.

The mostly outdoor restaurant and bar, which occupies the space that previously housed Fireside by The Patio, serves as Good Time Design’s re-entry into Liberty Station, having previously operated The Loma Club from 2014-2019.

Personal meaning

The story behind The Presley has cool personal meaning to Good Time Design’s team. Named for owner Ty Hauter’s 7 year old daughter, The Presley showcases the growth the Good Time Design team has made as a unit professionally and personally.

Much of the team has been with the company since the beginning in 2009 ―they’ve shared many milestones over the years, buying homes, getting married and starting families. The Presley is a representation of that growth and of life at every stage. It is a comfortable place to go with your family, a place to grab dinner with your girlfriends, a cocktail on a first date or a boozy brunch in the sun when you feel like letting loose.

Modern-meets-vintage design

While The Presley is a more elevated concept for the Good Time Design Group, it has the familiarity of the group’s other venues. The Presley features 3,400 square feet of dine-in space, with 2,100 square feet of dedicated outdoor dining space and three bars. With its modern-meets-vintage feel, moody hues and muted tones, The Presley’s design is a nod to classic outdoor lifestyle brands. The space has been reworked to amplify its natural energy and outdoor setting, adding elements like swing-bench seating and greenery, to best take advantage of the outdoor area and abide by current social distancing and CDC guidelines.

The menu

Designed by Good Time Design’s Executive Chef Todd Nash, The Presley’s menu features classic American fare including, Lobster Roll Sliders, Horseradish Crusted Salmon, Grilled Pork Prime Rib, and a variety of flatbreads, sandwiches and salads. To complement the menu, John Amato has curated a playful beverage menu, featuring twists on classic cocktails, including a Dole Whip Mimosa and Frozen Gin Fizz.

The Presley hours are: Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday from 11:00am to 9:00pm, and Friday and Saturday from 11:00am to 10:00pm. Following the July opening, The Presley will introduce Sunday brunch, as well as live music.

We can’t wait to see you there!
