Annual Bike the Bay is Back for its 16th Year

Get ready to clip in for San Diego’s most anticipated cycling event of the year! The 16th annual Bike the Bay is wheeling into town, offering a rare chance to conquer the majestic San Diego-Coronado Bay Bridge on two wheels.

This is the one day when cyclists own this iconic span, and it’s an opportunity not to be missed.

Bike the Bay

Coastal Cruise: From Bridge to Beaches

Our 25-mile journey hugs the stunning San Diego Bay, weaving through a tapestry of local neighborhoods.

We’ll glide from the bridge to the beaches, exploring swanky Coronado, chilled-out Imperial Beach, lively Chula Vista, and picturesque National City before looping back to where it all began at Embarcadero Marina Park.

It’s a greatest hits tour of San Diego’s waterfront communities, all packed into one unforgettable ride.

Pedaling With Purpose: Community and Celebration

This event isn’t just about the thrill of the ride—it’s a chance to support the San Diego County Bicycle Coalition and their mission to make our city even more bike-friendly.

After conquering the course, we’ll dive into a post-ride festival brimming with delicious eats, refreshing drinks, and a beer garden to quench that well-earned thirst. It’s the perfect way to celebrate our achievement and bond with fellow cycling enthusiasts.

See you there!

This ride is all about setting your own pace and drinking in the scenery. Riders must be at least 10 years old, and helmets are non-negotiable (because safety is always in style).

Mark your calendars for Sunday, August 25, 2024, and be ready to roll out with the 8 AM wave. It’s time to gear up for a day of pedal-powered excitement that’ll have you falling in love with San Diego all over again!
