Trick-or-Treat Your Way Through Little Italy

Get ready for a spooktacular evening in Little Italy as one of the neighborhood’s favorite traditions returns: Trick-or-Treat on India Street.

Little ghouls, goblins, witches, and superheroes are invited to dress up and stroll through the charming streets of Little Italy for an urban-style trick-or-treating adventure.

Collect Treats Along India Street

Families can visit participating businesses along historic India Street and the surrounding blocks to collect sweet treats while soaking in the festive atmosphere.

Event maps are available at the Piazza della Famiglia, or you can scan the QR codes posted on A-frames along India Street to pull up a virtual map of every participating business.

Either option makes it easy to plan your route and hit every stop without missing a thing.

Jack Skellington Takes Over the Piazza

The Piazza della Famiglia takes a hauntingly fun turn this year, transforming into a scene straight out of The Nightmare Before Christmas, complete with a giant 13-foot Jack Skellington, towering pumpkin stacks, and plenty of Instagram-worthy photo ops.

This transformation makes for some of the best Halloween photos in the city. Even if you’re just passing through, it’s worth carving out a few extra minutes to take it all in.

Fall Vendors, Live Music, and a Costume Contest

Local fall vendors curated by the Little Italy Mercato bring frightfully fun finds and ghoulish goodies to browse throughout the event.

New this year, a kids’ coloring zone and live music set up shop at India & W. Fir Streets, and Shake Shack Little Italy hosts the Costume Contest, where creativity and Halloween spirit take center stage.

With so many new additions, there’s plenty to keep families entertained beyond the trick-or-treating alone.

Making Room for the Festivities

For everyone’s safety and enjoyment, W. Cedar through W. Grape Streets close to vehicle traffic for the event, turning the area into a pedestrian-friendly promenade filled with festive fun.

It’s a small change that makes a big difference, giving families room to wander and trick-or-treat without worrying about traffic.
