New Smokehouse Concept Now Open At The Hotel Del Coronado

Hotel del Coronado’s newest culinary concept, Smokehouse & Bar at the Historic Laundry, is now open – and it’s very cool!

The beautifully restored smokehouse-inspired restaurant offers a unique dining experience with slow-smoked meats, and classic BBQ sides (all with a California twist), and set in the unique history of the Laundry Building.

Set in rich prohibition-era history

The interior design pays homage to The Laundry’s history, featuring vintage signage from 1925 and retaining the original brick-clad walls and polished concrete and wood floors.

The restaurant’s ambiance takes you on a journey to The Del’s bygone era, adding to the allure of the dining experience and giving you the perfect excuse to pair up that smoked meat with an inventive prohibition-era cocktail at the historic wooden bar!

‘Fluff ‘N Fold’ private dining option

In addition to the main indoor and outdoor dining areas, Smokehouse & Bar also features two private dining and entertainment spaces: the ‘Fluff ‘N Fold’ and the ‘Board Room,’ once serving as the private offices for laundry staff, now provide exclusive settings for special occasions.
