White Rice Morena’s Kamayan Dinners To Open And Close Filipino-American History Month
Through the month of October, Chef Phillip Esteban and his non-profit creative collective Open Gym will be celebrating Filipino-American History Month by hosting two Filipino Kamayan Dinners.

Sharing their cultural legacy through food, the Kamayan Dinners will formally kick off the festivities on October 1st and wraps up the month on October 29th at White Rice Morena, located at 5299 Linda Vista Rd., #B, San Diego, CA 92110.
The special Kamayan events will include a communal-style Filipino feast, served on banana leaves and eaten without utensils. Beer and wine will also be available for purchase.
