Pablove Foundation To Host Cycling Event For Childhood Cancer Awareness Month
September is National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and according to the American Childhood Cancer Organization, each year in the U.S., there are an estimated 15,780 children between the ages of birth and 19 years of age who are diagnosed with cancer.
Pablove Across America
On September 30, the Pablove Foundation will hold the last leg of Pablove Across America cycling event to raise money and awareness for kids with cancer, culminating in a celebration at Draft Republic at North City.
North City, the evolving urban hub in North County, has recently become a popular venue for major cycling events, including the world-renowned Belgian Waffle Ride.
Local cyclists are invited to take part in a 1-day 50 or 100-mile ride with the Pablove Pediatric Cancer-Slaying Cycling event! The first race departs from Draft Republic North City at 7:30AM and returns for the finish line celebration.
Registration is a $125 donation, which includes a $25 voucher for food and drink at Draft Republic San Marcos. The community is invited to the Pablove Across America Finish Line party at 3PM to commemorate the final day of Childhood Cancer Awareness Monthly.
