East Village Association Debuts The Inaugural ‘East Village SALUTES!’

To celebrate the brave men and women who have served our nation, the East Village Association is thrilled to announce the inaugural East Village SALUTES! event.

On Sunday, November 12th, East Village SALUTES! promises a day of festivities, gratitude, and community spirit. The event will take place at the entrance plaza of the Park 12 Luxury Apartments (100 Park Plaza, San Diego), across from Petco Park.

Taking place on Veteran’s Day weekend, the event is dedicated to honoring Veterans and underscoring the remarkable contributions they continue to make within our downtown community. The event will not only pay homage to our heroes but will also highlight the thriving Veteran-owned businesses in the area. Attendees can look forward to a street festival-style atmosphere with activities for all ages.

“We are proud to introduce the first annual East Village SALUTES! event,” said Ethan Olsen, Assistant District Manager of the East Village Association. “This celebration showcases the community’s deep appreciation for Veterans. It’s a chance for us to unite as a community and extend our gratitude to those who have selflessly served our country. We invite everyone to join us for a day filled with music, activities, and heartfelt camaraderie.”

The free event will feature a variety of attractions, including Veteran-owned business vendor booths, live musical performances, and family-friendly activities that promise fun for all ages. The renowned San Diego Marine Band’s Jazz Ensemble will be a highlight you won’t want to miss.
