This year’s event is spreading the culinary love over two days, giving you double the opportunity to indulge in the best bites and sips our coastal city has to offer.

This exclusive foodie event will kick off the Taste weekend, showcasing three of Oceanside’s top chefs. Each of these talented chefs will offer a unique take on global flavors, blending tradition with creativity, as they celebrate Oceanside’s dynamic and delicious food culture.
Saransh Oberoi | Curry & More
Chef Saransh Oberoi, from Curry & More Indian Bistro, learned from his renowned father, Chef Hemant Oberoi. Trained at the Culinary Institute of America, Saransh gained experience globally and defeated Bobby Flay on TV. He now operates Curry & More in Oceanside, San Marcos, and Rancho Bernardo.
Roxana Pavel | Allmine
Roxana Pavel, owner of Allmine in Oceanside, hails from Romania. With a master’s in hospitality and experience in fine dining, including a Michelin-starred restaurant, she combines her background and Romanian roots to create dishes from high-quality, housemade ingredients at Allmine.
Samantha Parker | The Flying Pig
Chef Samantha Parker, raised in California, learned cooking from her grandmothers. A Culinary Institute of America graduate, she worked at various local restaurants before returning to The Flying Pig. She now brings a fresh perspective to their “flip-flop fine dining” concept.
Saturday Stroll: A Foodie’s Paradise
Saturday’s main event is where the magic really happens. Imagine strolling through downtown Oceanside, the ocean breeze in your hair, as you hop from one delicious destination to another. With over 1,000 fellow food enthusiasts joining the fun, you’ll feel the buzz of excitement in the air.
And if walking’s not your thing, no worries—hop on the free ‘Taste Trolley’ to cruise between tasting spots in style.
For those 21 and up, upgrade your ticket to include beverage tastings and discover why Oceanside’s craft beer and wine scene is making waves. Trust us, you won’t want to miss out on these local liquid refreshments.
Early bird tickets for Saturday’s feast start at just $40 for food only, or $55 if you want to add those delicious beverage tastings. And hey, make it a family affair—kids 12 and under can join for just $10.
Prices will go up after August 10 and on the day of the event, so grab your tickets early to save some dough for all the yummy eats you’ll be trying.
Community Spirit and Local Love
But it’s not just about the food and drinks. Taste of Oceanside is all about bringing our community together and showcasing the incredible talent right here in our backyard. Plus, a portion of every ticket sold goes to support Lived Experiences, a local nonprofit doing amazing work for underserved families in Oceanside.
And here’s a little insider tip—this event has sold out three years running, so don’t sleep on getting your tickets. They went on sale August 1, with early bird pricing available through August 10.
