Spooky Literary Soirée at Villa Montezuma
It’s time to dust off your Victorian attire and prepare for a night of Gothic glamour. Write Out Loud is bringing “Poe and His Progeny” to the hauntingly beautiful Villa Montezuma.
A Mansion of Macabre Delights
The stunning Queen Anne Victorian, known as the “Palace of the Arts,” sets the perfect stage for this literary adventure. San Diego’s top performers will bring Edgar Allan Poe and other masters of the macabre to life, making the experience utterly immersive.
Star-Studded (and Slightly Spooky) Guest List
We’re talking literary legends here. Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, Paul Laurence Dunbar’s works, and Guy de Maupassant’s “Tress of Hair” are all on the menu.
Choose Your Fright Night
The ghostly fun happens on October 25, 26, 31, and November 1. Each night offers three chances to get spooked at 6 PM, 7:30 PM, or 9 PM.
See You There!
Tickets for Poe and His Progeny are $30. Snag yours here or call (619)2978953. The Villa Montezuma Museum is at 1925 K St., San Diego. Fair warning: it’s an old-school Victorian, so there’s no elevator.
This is your chance to experience literature like never before. It’s edgy, it’s immersive, and it’s pure San Diego magic.
