The Most Scenic Race in Southern California Runs Over the Coronado Bridge
There aren’t many races in Southern California where the course itself is the main attraction. The 39th Navy Bay Bridge Run/Walk is one of them.
Starting at Hilton Bayfront Park in downtown San Diego, the point-to-point course takes runners and walkers straight over the Coronado Bridge and down to Tidelands Park – with bay views the entire way.

Pick Your Distance
Two course options are available – a four-mile route or a 10K – and both cross the Coronado Bridge. Whether you’re going for a PR or just want to experience the bridge on foot with a few hundred of your closest strangers, there’s a distance that works. Early bird registration and pricing are open now.

A Race With a Purpose
The event is hosted by the Navy Region Southwest Morale, Welfare and Recreation Program and raises funds to support quality of life programs for Navy personnel and the broader San Diego military community – over 500,000 people across five Navy bases in San Diego County.
It’s a well-organized, well-attended event that has been a part of the San Diego running calendar for 39 years for good reason.
