Fish Shop Opens New Oceanside Location, Growing its San Diego Roots

Fish Shop just opened its fourth San Diego County location in Oceanside, and it’s bringing the same laid-back seafood vibe that’s been working in Pacific Beach, Encinitas, and Point Loma for over 15 years.

The new spot sits along Oceanside’s Coast Highway and keeps everything that regulars already know and love about Fish Shop, from build-your-own plates to monthly Shrimp Boils and that always-popular $5 corkage fee.

Fish Shop Oceanside

The Menu You Already Know

If you’ve been to any of the other Fish Shop locations, you know what to expect here. Build-your-own plates and salads, signature tacos, shrimp bowls, and poke bowls all made the trip to Oceanside. The monthly Shrimp Boils continue, and $1.25 Oyster Thursdays give you a solid reason to show up mid-week.

The full bar is set up, and the $5 corkage fee remains one of those rare perks that makes bringing your own bottle an easy decision.

Same Atmosphere, New Location

The 2,950-square-foot space maintains Fish Shop’s relaxed, family- and dog-friendly atmosphere. It’s designed to feel welcoming and familiar rather than trying to reinvent what’s already working.

Fish Shop partner and owner Billy Ramirez says bringing the brand to Oceanside just feels right, and given the vibe of the coast here, it’s easy to see why they picked this spot for the next expansion.

15 Years of Fresh Seafood Across San Diego

Fish Shop started in Pacific Beach in 2010, added Encinitas in 2014, and opened Point Loma in 2018. The Oceanside location strengthens the brand’s presence across the county and gives North County locals another place to grab fresh seafood in a neighborhood setting.

See you there!

When a restaurant works in three locations, opening a fourth usually means they’re doing something right, and Fish Shop has been proving that for over a decade now.
