Spring Adventures Await at Evans Hotels

Soak up the sunshine and spring into fun at Evans Hotels – Bahia Resort Hotel, Catamaran Resort Hotel and Spa, and The Lodge at Torrey Pines – where a full lineup of seasonal experiences makes it easy to turn a quick getaway into something memorable.

From festive Easter brunches and bayside movie nights to Italian date nights and the return of guided nature walks at Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve, there’s something happening around every corner this spring.

Spring Adventures at Evans Hotels

Island Vibes at the Catamaran

At the Polynesian-inspired Catamaran Resort, spring comes with a tropical twist.

Families can tap into their creative side at the poolside Keiki Klub with Hawaiian arts and crafts, then head bayside for fresh flower lei making and complimentary hula lessons, all leading up to the resort’s Torch Lighting Show with rhythmic drums and traditional dancers.

The Catamaran’s Bird Encounter brings even more personality to the lineup, featuring six colorful parrots in an outdoor setting that feels like a real-life tiki room – and yes, the photo ops are solid.

Easter Brunch, Done the Coastal Way

Dockside 1953 at the Bahia Resort serves up a Champagne Brunch Buffet with seafood, made-to-order omelets, bourbon honey glazed spiral ham, salmon Wellington, and more, plus appearances by the Easter Bunny, arts and crafts, and a golden egg hunt for prizes.

Over at the Catamaran, the ballroom brunch includes a cold seafood and sushi display, Belgian waffle and omelet stations, roasted leg of lamb, chile-lime grilled mahi, and live entertainment alongside an Easter egg hunt.

At The Lodge at Torrey Pines, A.R. Valentien and The Grill offer a la carte brunch with an egg hunt and a visit from the Easter Bunny in the newly refreshed courtyard, plus a three-course prix fixe dinner for those celebrating later in the day.

Date Nights, Movie Nights, and Bayfront Fun

Mission Bay sets the scene for spring evenings. Bianchi Pizza & Pasta at the Bahia hosts Italian Date Night with a shareable Caesar salad, a wood-fired pizza, and a bottle of house wine – simple, cozy, and perfect for midweek plans.

The Catamaran invites guests to Movies on the Bay with Mission Bay as the backdrop, while the Bahia keeps things playful with Dive-in Movies at the Pool and daily family-friendly beach and pool activities.

Bahia’s Beach & Boat Club is also back for its second year, bringing spring break energy to a lively beachside deck with a full-service bar and easygoing bites.

Nature, Wellness, and a Little Reset

With Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve reopening after upgrades and accessibility improvements, Lodge guests can once again join complimentary guided nature walks through one of San Diego’s most scenic coastal landscapes.

Families can explore the grounds through a self-guided scavenger hunt to earn a Junior Explorer badge, or take a botanical walk to learn more about the region’s native plants.

For those craving a slower pace, The Lodge also offers complimentary ocean-view yoga and seasonal spa packages at The Spa at Torrey Pines.

Seasonal Specials Worth Planning Around

Oceana Coastal Kitchen debuts Morsels & Martinis, pairing a classic or espresso martini with a three-course menu, and celebrates International Waffle Day with an all-day chicken and waffles special.

If you’re looking to level things up, you can book the Ultimate San Diego VIP Getaway Package, which includes a bay view stay at the Bahia, a bespoke SeaWorld VIP tour, and a private city tour experience.

Spring savings are also in full swing across all three properties, with tiered discounts for longer stays using promo code SPRING26.

See you there!

Spring in San Diego is always a good idea, and Evans Hotels makes it easy to turn beach days, brunch plans, and sunset views into a full-on seasonal escape.
