Sail Into the Holidays at Margaritaville’s Yo Ho Ho-liday Tavern
LandShark Bar & Grill is spending another holiday season as a pirate tavern. Yo Ho Ho-liday Tavern returns to Margaritaville Hotel San Diego in the Gaslamp Quarter for a second year, and this round comes with more decor, more drinks, and more reasons to stay past your first cocktail.

Where Garland Meets Treasure Chests
The restaurant gets the full nautical holiday treatment. Twinkling lights, ornaments, treasure chests, and seasonal accents layer over the high-seas theme until the room reads as part tavern, part December.
Last year was the first run at it. This year the decor goes further, with more corners of the room worth a photo.
Chai Old Fashioneds and the Garnet Garland
The drink list was built for the season. The Chai Old Fashioned mixes Bulleit Rye with chai maple syrup and cardamom bitters. The Garnet Garland pairs Arette Classico Reposado with pomegranate concentrate, agave syrup, cranberry, and orange bitters.
Naughty & Nice, Winter Wonderland, and Captain’s Grog fill out the rest of the list. The LandShark kitchen is adding limited-time dishes on the pirate theme too, with those details still to come.

Select December Saturdays Come With Pirates
Pirate characters work the room on select Saturday evenings in December, 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM, with stories, holiday antics, and photos. Music covers the rest of the weekend.
Coastal duos play Fridays from 5 PM to 8 PM, and a DJ takes over Saturdays from 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM. The hotel has not named which Saturdays the pirates are on deck, so call ahead if that is the part you are coming for.

See you there!
The tavern sails through New Year’s Eve, so there is time. Still, December books up fast downtown. Pick your night, bring your crew, and go.
