Carruth Cellars’ Harvest Celebration Now In Full Swing!

San Diego’s largest urban winery, Carruth Cellars, is officially celebrating Harvest Celebration through the end of October and San Diegans and visitors alike can get a behind the scenes sneak peek of all of the action happening at their main production facility in Oceanside, HANGAR76 by booking a production tour with one of Carruth’s expert winemakers.

The Harvest Celebration Tour

Each tour explores Carruth Cellars’ unique approach to winemaking or “bringing grapes to the people,” which involves sourcing the best quality grapes from all over the West Coast, enabling Carruth to support local, while still getting to create exceptional wines from different regions.

Guests will also get an up close and personal look at “crush” – the process of taking the (literal) tons of different varietals of grapes delivered from harvest and beginning to transform them into Carruth’s award-winning wines.

Tour reservations can be made by contacting events@carruthcellars.com.

A variety of fun October-themed activities

As part of the month-long Harvest Celebration, each of Carruth’s tasting room locations are hosting a variety of fun October-themed activities and events including Spooky Yoga, Spooky Bingo, live music, swing dancing, and more.

Guests will also have the opportunity to enter Carruth’s Harvest Celebration raffle to win a 2-night stay at the Bee Haven Cottage in Healdsburg, Sonoma, located on the vineyard where they source their incredible Zinfandel. Other prizes include a Carruth harvest basket with special merch, two Reserve Sale tasting bundle tickets, $100 Carruth gift card & more.

Check out Carruth’s event page here for more details.

See you there, San Diego!
