Communal Opens New Outpost, Haven

Communal, the multifaceted venue featuring a home and wine shop, event space, and coworking space located in the heart of North Park, recently opened its newest venture, Haven.

Located on the corner of 30th and Upas, Haven will feature a curated home and natural wine shop street side and two event spaces behind.

Haven’s curated home shop will have an expansive selection of natural wines and specialty market goods, including everything from housewares and curated gifts to a unique selection of indoor plants.

Behind the shop, the outdoor space is available for coworking during the week, with both day and month passes available. Purchase of a coworking pass includes amenities like Sightglass batch brew, cold brew, specialty teas, wine and beer, all to be enjoyed in the inviting garden-like space.

Haven’s Mediterranean-styled space has a warm, inviting feel that is perfect for small or large events. The airy indoor event space features natural wood tables, a lounge, a kitchenette, and bar and buffet area, making it the perfect venue to host a rehearsal dinner, baby shower, or dinner party.

The outdoor event space has a culinary garden, fire pits, cafe lighting, lush greenery, and lounge seating.

Both event spaces can accommodate up to 40 people seated and 75 standing. Communal’s signature catering, bar service, and florals are available in both event spaces.

Similar to Communal’s Oceanside and North Park locations, Haven will also have its own event programming, partnering with local artists and staff to offer creative, engaging workshops.

Head to Haven and learn the art of floral arranging, craft cocktails, ceramics, ring making, and more.

See you there, San Diego!
