Adams Avenue Spirit Stroll Returns for Its 9th Year

The Adams Avenue Spirit Stroll is back and ready to kick off the holiday season the right way. This neighborhood tradition returns Saturday, November 29, perfectly timed with Small Business Saturday to remind us why shopping local actually matters.

How It Works

You’ll stroll through University Heights, Normal Heights, and into Kensington, hitting 19 independently owned retail stops along Adams Avenue. At each stop, you’ll sip festive cocktail tastes and sweet treats crafted by a dozen of the area’s top bartenders.

It’s part progressive cocktail party, part holiday shopping expedition, and entirely focused on supporting the businesses that give this stretch of Adams Avenue its character.

Why This One’s Different

The Spirit Stroll has always been about more than just drinks and shopping. It’s that rare event where you can actually talk to the shop owners, discover stores you’ve driven past a hundred times but never entered, and meet your neighbors while enjoying well-made cocktails.

The route takes you through three distinct neighborhoods, each with its own vibe, and the whole afternoon feels less like a structured event and more like an excuse to explore your own backyard with a drink in hand.

Community Vibes Done Right

There’s something about combining holiday magic with local business support that just works. The bartenders know their craft, the retail stops are genuinely interesting, and the crowd tends to be people who actually care about keeping independent businesses alive.

It’s cozy without being cheesy, festive without going overboard, and local in the best possible way.

At $35 for three hours of tastings across 19 stops, plus the chance to get your holiday shopping done at places that won’t show up in every other house on your block, it’s priced right. Just remember it’s 21+ and you’ll need your ID.

See you there!

Toast the season while supporting the independent businesses that make Adams Avenue what it is.
