Glass Box, a local San Diego-based restaurant, hosts an online silent auction fundraiser that started August 18th and will end on September 1st, with 100% of its proceeds being donated to the Hawaii Community Foundation, a verified organization providing financial resources that can be deployed quickly, with a focus on rapid response and recovery for the devastating wildfires on Maui.

On September 1st, the individual who donated the highest amount during the fundraiser will be awarded an exclusive 8-course Omakase dinner experience. This unique culinary journey will be hosted right in the winner’s own home, allowing them to relish a carefully curated menu crafted by Glass Box’s talented culinary team.

Hawaii Community Foundation to receive donation

As part of the fundraising event, Glass Box is also donating 15% of all sales generated during this period at the restaurant to the Hawaii Community Foundation and offering a complimentary appetizer to those who provide proof of their donation to the Hawaii Community Foundation.
