Glass Box Organizes Silent Auction Fundraiser In Support Of Maui Wildfire Relief Efforts

Glass Box, a local San Diego-based restaurant, hosts an online silent auction fundraiser that started August 18th and will end on September 1st, with 100% of its proceeds being donated to the Hawaii Community Foundation, a verified organization providing financial resources that can be deployed quickly, with a focus on rapid response and recovery for the devastating wildfires on Maui.

Show your support through a silent auction fundraiser

The silent auction will be hosted through GoFundMe and the donations will automatically deposit directly to Hawaii Community Foundation.

Glass Box will reach out to the highest donor at the end by messaging them on GoFundMe. You can view the GoFundMe page and donate by clicking following the link here.

On September 1st, the individual who donated the highest amount during the fundraiser will be awarded an exclusive 8-course Omakase dinner experience. This unique culinary journey will be hosted right in the winner’s own home, allowing them to relish a carefully curated menu crafted by Glass Box’s talented culinary team.

Hawaii Community Foundation to receive donation

As part of the fundraising event, Glass Box is also donating 15% of all sales generated during this period at the restaurant to the Hawaii Community Foundation and offering a complimentary appetizer to those who provide proof of their donation to the Hawaii Community Foundation.

“We believe in the power of community and collective efforts,” says Ethan Yang, Owner and Head Chef at Glass Box. “Our hearts go out to those affected by the wildfires, and we are committed to doing our part to assist in the recovery process.”

Let’s help rebuild and uplift
