Kettner Exchange is offering a four-course menu from award-winning Chef Brian Redzikowski with optional wine pairings from Beverage Director, Claire Sexton. Dishes include the Tuna TarTar “Twinkie”, Black Truffle Mushroom Ragout, Crispy Fried Seabass (Frisee, Perilla Leaf), and, of course, Caramel Corn Ice Cream with popcorn streusel. Countdown to the new year at Valentina, a European-style bistro and wine bar located along Hwy 101. Mister A’s

Celebrate the holiday season with the best views in San Diego at Mister A’s. Chef Stephane Voitzwinkler’s New Year’s Eve prix fixe menu will include options such as Hudson Valley Duck ‘Foie Gras’ Torchon (Lingonberry Chutney, Shallot Compote, Brioche), Octopus Carpaccio (Crispy Avocado, Green & Red Peppercorns), Prime Filet “Chateaubriand” (Cabernet Wine Sauce, Pomme Purée Robuchon), and more. Callie also has a very lively New Year’s Eve celebration planned. The East Village restaurant is booking up now for two seatings to suit each guest’s style. At the Pre-Party Feast early seating from 5-6:15PM, enjoy a five-course family-style spread with highlights including chilled Pacific oysters, uni toast, beef carpaccio, wild mushroom risotto, osso bucco and meyer lemon pavlova to finish off the meal. There’s also an option to go even more decadent and add on a caviar supplement. Or guests can join for a more elaborate fête at a second seating, a Midnight Celebration from 9-9:45PM complete with a champagne toast and live band along with optional wine and champagne pairings for the five-course spread. Jeune et Jolie

On December 31, newly opened bar and bistronomie, Wormwood, in University Heights will offer a prix fixe dinner event for those looking to ring in 2022 in the Bohemian style of Old Paris. At $100 per person, the evening’s eight-course chef’s menu will include modern French fare in the gastronomic style of a Parisian bistronomie, a trending term coined in Paris that combines the cuisine of highly talented chefs with the approachable setting of the city’s classic bistros. Wormwood will offer two seating times, from 6 to 9PM and from 9PM to midnight, each limited to 70 guests. Dinner will include a welcome drink upon arrival—champagne or a signature cocktail—and will take place throughout Wormwood’s dining room and outdoor patios. Juniper and Ivy will offer a special four-course prix fixe menu from Executive Chef Anthony Wells, from 4:30 to 10:30PM. The Med at La Valencia Hotel

Ring in the New Year at La Valencia Hotel (plus, the Pink Lady’s 95th year) with a bubbly Piper-Heidsieck countdown in La Sala lounge featuring live music from singer-songwriter David Shyde from 9:15PM into 2022 and champagne specials, including the 1926 champagne cocktail, Piper-Heidsieck splits, and more. Enjoy The Med’s special five-course, prix fixe New Year’s Eve menu, with seatings beginning at 5PM. Highlights include Octopus (with romesco, cannellini bean, crispy serrano ham, caper parsley relish), Harissa roasted Leg of Lamb (with chimichurri sauce, red & gold pepperade, saffron couscous, gold raisin-curry roasted cauliflower), and Death by Chocolate dessert. $125/person + champagne enhancements. Count down to the New Year as you immerse in the transportive world of Wolfie’s Carousel Bar. Common Stock

Hillcrest neighborhood eatery and bar, Common Stock, is celebrating the end of this year and the start of 2022 with a special 3-course menu (including an appetizer, entree and one of the restaurant’s signature cookies for dessert) aptly priced at $20.22. Add-ons and upgrades will be available and champagne specials will be flowing all night long as well as Common Stock’s seasonal cocktails with highlights such as a Winter Old Fashioned, Pistachio Pear Sour and Espresso Martini to make sure every guest makes it to see the ball drop. North Italia

Ring in the New Year with a special dinner at North Italia. The restaurant is offering a three-course New Year’s Eve prix fixe menu in its modern and welcoming atmosphere. It’s the perfect destination to celebrate with friends and family. Reservations are now available via OpenTable. Guests will be able to choose a choice of one starter, one entrée and one dessert for $65. In addition to fan-favorite standout dishes including Chicken Parmesan, Red Wine Glazed Short Rib, Spicy Rigatoni Vodka and House Bolognese, new selections on the menu for the holiday include:
