Nominations Open for Oceanside Hometown Heroes

MainStreet Oceanside is excited to announce that nominations are now open for the 2024 Hometown Heroes program!

This prestigious annual initiative honors outstanding Oceanside residents who have devoted their time and efforts to volunteer activities that significantly enhance the quality of life in the community.

The Hometown Heroes program celebrates those individuals who go above and beyond to foster positive community development and improve the neighborhood.

2024 Oceanside Hometown Heroes Nominations Now Open!

Honoring these Hometown Heroes reflects MainStreet Oceanside’s commitment to recognize the selfless acts of courage, kindness, and dedication by the residents of the city.

Nominees must be residents of Oceanside, but there are no restrictions regarding race, ethnicity, age, or the type of volunteer service performed. This inclusive approach ensures that any deserving individual can be recognized for their unique contributions.

The selected Hero (or Heroes) will have the distinct honor of being recognized in the annual Oceanside Independence Parade, which will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2024. Awardees must be available on this date to ride in the parade and share in celebrating their achievements with the community.
